1. Remove Cover

Remove retaining screws from lid and carefully lift off main body.

power up

2. Power On

After opening device, move power switch from left to right “ON” Position.

3. Test Signal

After 15 Seconds, ensure blue LED on main PCB board begins flashing process (short flashes with long pauses between, followed by several fast flashes). Check to ensure signal has been received in online data collection website:

4. Replace Cover

Carefully replace device cover and secure retaining screws. Do not over-tighten screws. Plug Sensor into chassis socket marked ‘sensor’

5. Power Supply

If your device has been supplied with an external power supply, connect to chassis socket marked ‘power’. If using solar power, install PingAlert solar panel as close to facing North-West as possible, 30-degrees above horizontal. If using local power supply, connect cable to wall plug or USB (as specified at the time of order).
