The PingAlert remote monitoring terminal is a monitoring device with low power, environmental protection, wireless communication with multiple sensor options, designed specifically for the IoT. In-house design and engineering allows PingAlert to supply both off-the-shelf monitoring solutions or customized units for OEM’s that need to connect their sensors to the Cloud. Monitoring includes data collection, alarming and transmission to PingAlert’s secure Cloud software.
Devices are incredibly power efficient, which eliminates the need for frequent maintenance. Battery packs offer up to 10-years of sensing life, keeping in-field maintenance costs to a minimum.
Device input options include either analogue voltage or incorporated current loop supply for 4-20 mA analogue sensors. Devices can be customised to client requirements. The digital & analogue output ensures reliable, repeatable and controllable connection to the PingAlert API software.
Utilising NB-IoT and CAT-M1 reduced monthly subscription costs and every device is stand-alone without the need for expensive gateways.”.
How it works
SENSE
Sensors determine the current state of environmental factors.
COLLECT
Connected device receives and transmits sensor signals in a variety of formats and frequencies.
HOST
Device data is hosted in the PingAlert website securely (example right) for easy access.
STORE
PingAlert website stores device data in an optimized time-series store via the SQL database.
ACCESS
Data is retrieved using either API links, website/app access or sending alerts via SMS, app or email.
ANALYSE
Use of 3rd party time-series analysis software for statistical analytics and machine learning.
